This critical role is central to our commitment to delivering packages safely, efficiently, and reliably through our advanced drone fleet. The Flight Monitor will be responsible for real-time monitoring of drone flights, ensuring operational compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems.</li><li> Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters.</li><li> Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.</li><li> Coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations.</li><li> Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement.</li><li> Utilize excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while maintaining a high attention to detail in all tasks.</li><li> Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while working effectively in a high-pressure environment.</li><li> Adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.<br><br></li></ul>This role requires the ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.<br><br>This role requires the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays<br><br>This role may require travel, up to 25% of the time<br><br>Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.<br><br>This position will be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
