[Remote] Software Development Engineer, EC2 Nitro High Memory and HPC team

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing company providing a broad range of infrastructure and platform services. The Software Development Engineer will develop purpose-built platforms for high-performance computing and database worklo, working across system BIOS, Nitro Hypervisor, EC2 control-plane services, firmware, Linux kernel internals, and peripheral devices. The role involves delivering new features and instance types using C/C++, Rust, Python, and Lua.


Skills

  • • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
